The menu below is arranged the way we recommend working through it, from the hole outward. You are welcome to jump straight to a driver session and plenty of people do, but if you have never had the short clubs measured, start there. It changes what the long-club numbers mean.
Ninety minutes on the calibrated surface. We film the stroke from overhead, measure arc width and face rotation, then work through hosel styles, head balance, length, lie and loft until the ball starts rolling on the line your eyes chose.
Cut turf, three lie conditions and a gapping check from forty yards in. Bounce and grind get chosen against how you actually deliver the club, and against the seasonal state of central Kentucky ground rather than an idealised fairway.
Lie board, face tape and impact spray before any launch numbers are discussed. Length is decided from where the club actually arrives, not from a wrist-to-floor chart, and set makeup is reviewed top and bottom.
The awkward stretch between the shortest fairway wood and the longest iron you can hold. We work out where your carry curve genuinely flattens and fill only the yardages you will use.
Sole camber, leading edge and head size assessed off real turf as well as a mat, because the two surfaces flatter completely different clubs. Includes a tee-shot check if you use a wood off the tee.
Head, loft, face angle and shaft profile. Shorter than most shops schedule, because by this point we already know your release timing and grip pressure from the earlier rooms.
Four appointments spread across two or three weeks, running the whole order from putter to driver. Between visits we build and you play, so each session starts with feedback from a real round rather than a memory of a hitting bay. This is the format we recommend for anyone whose current set was bought off a rack, inherited, or assembled over a decade of one-club-at-a-time decisions.
Not every visit needs two hours and a camera. A good part of the week is ordinary shop work, and we would rather you brought it here than to a mail-in service that never sees the club.
Forged heads drift. A set played hard for two seasons can be two degrees off across the middle irons, and the drift is rarely even. We gauge every head, show you the before and after readings, and bend to your card.
Grips are fitted by hand size and by how much taper your hands actually want, then built up with tape in measured wraps rather than a guess. Build-up is recorded on your card so the next set matches.
Heads are pulled with controlled heat, cleaned, and reused wherever the hosel allows. If a head cannot survive a pull we say so before starting, not after.
Tip weights, butt weights and grip choices are all levers on the same number. We will show you the scale reading as we change it so the feel decision stays yours.
